Hey there! 👋 I'm Nihar Samantaray
I'm a technical lead and hobbyist programmer from India who enjoys building things, breaking things, and figuring out how they work. I spend a lot of time on Linux, the command line, backend development, automation, and self-hosting.
What I Do
By day, I'm a Technical Lead at Aziro Technologies, working on banking technology. Outside work, I build small projects, experiment with AI, and tinker with my homelab — currently known as NIMORY.
You can find some of my projects and experiments on GitLab and more about my professional work on my portfolio.
When I'm Not Coding...
I'm usually running, training for a half marathon, travelling somewhere, watching anime, listening to music, or planning the next thing to build.
This website is my little corner of the internet where I write about things I'm learning, building, and occasionally breaking.
If you'd like to say hello, drop me a message at hi@nihars.com.
